Eriko – Teacher 
​​​Hello, Kia ora, and こんにちは (konnichiwa). My name is Eriko. I've been a teacher since 2012.

I'm originally from Japan and have been in New Zealand since 2003. The famous saying, 'Time goes fast when you are having fun' couldn't be any truer for me.

I'm an educator who is passionate about providing opportunities for children to be seen and heard, and I believe that every child brings unique talents and interests. My role is to foster those through engaging, play-based learning with room for exploration and celebrating their successes. 

I am also a firm believer in working with whānau and my team to discover, create, and support each child blossom into their confident, curious selves.

My husband, David and I have a daughter in primary school, and we love spending time together playing in the park, swimming, and doing some baking.
